Gloucestershire Nightstop

What is Nightstop?

Nightstop offers emergency overnight

accommodation to homeless young people

aged between 16-25 years in the

homes of volunteers.

If you use Nightstop

A Nightstop worker will collect and drive you to your home at least for the first night.

All hosts are police checked and properly trained.

Hosts are welcoming and they will provide you with an evening meal, a bed in your own room, washing facilities including toiletries if you need them. You will be given space if you need it or if you

want to talk your host will listen.

The following morning you will be offered breakfast and then be collected

from your host or placed on public transport, and return to your agency, who will

then try and find a more permanent solution to your housing problem. The service is free to you.

Nightstop

You cannot refer yourself to Nightstop but must seek help first from a youth worker, social worker or advice from connexions or your local council. If you do not know who to ask give us a ring on the number below.

As Nightstop works with volunteers we cannot guarantee that we can place you although we will try our best.

At Nightstop we believe that everyone should be treated equally whether they are guests, staff, young people, volunteer drivers or hosts.

This means that we do not judge people on the basis of their sexuality, race, gender, age disability or religion.
