Newent Youth Centre is situated on the Ross Road in Newent next door to the Kings Arms public house and provides a safe, warm, fun environment for young people in the 11 to 18 age ranges.
An enthusiastic team of trained youth workers deliver the programmes on offer and young people have the opportunity to be more than just casual users of the club if they want to. |

There are opportunities for arts based activities and we are particularly proud of three murals which were designed and put together by young people with the support of a professional artist.

|
As a result of a successful Youth
Opportunity Fund bid we now have new 5 a side goals and we are
working on a bid to secure funding to develop a studio space. We are also in the process of setting up a Youth Forum which will not only give young people the opportunity to influence the direction of the programme on offer at the Youth Centre but will also aim to give them he opportunity to have a voice within the local community. |
