GAY-GLOS (formally, Gay and Lesbian Friend Helpline Gloucestershire) is launching friendship support groups for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender people (LGBT) living in the Forest Area.
Isolation,
mistrust, lack of information and homophobia can result in people who are LGBT
leading unfulfilled lives. Friends can change that around and help young people
feel less isolated. There will be friendship groups and networks for anyone gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or exploring the sexual orientation. Each group will be run by a lead volunteer. Starting now a group for young adults between the ages of 18-25 years in the Forest area.
Becoming part of
a group can give people the opportunity to share experience and knowledge with
others, make friends, discuss concerns they have and work out practical and

Groups are open to anyone aged 18 years and over.
