In May 2003 Forest Radio's first ‘youth programme’ Wired Up was broadcast as the kick off to a special Coleford music festival weekend of programmes and has been running on the 3rd Wednesday of the month ever since and soon we will be going on air every two weeks.

Each
broadcast is made by young people, for young people and we always try to have a
mix of programmes,
from interviews with pop stars at the Ross Festival,
to information programmes about the issues that we know affect us and other
young people.
Wired Up always welcomes anyone new wishing to get involved, wherever you are and whatever you would like to do; learn how to make a programme, borrow kit to record a band or run the desk. Whatever it is we will try to help.
