The arts day for young people with disabilities

Registration is at 10:45am            Finishing at 4.10pm

 

During the day, the young people attending will take part in the following workshops:  Samba Band, Animation, Street Dance and a Craft. Due to the nature of the activities we recommend that the young people wear loose old clothing like track suits, jogging bottoms, T-shirts and trainers. Your young people will participate in all the activities on offer. The young people will need to bring drinks, and a packed lunch.

 

There are places for 48 young people at this event. In the first instance I will allocate 8 places to each group. If we are under subscribed I will offer additional places out on a first come first served bases. Therefore it is really important that you get your booking form in on time.

It would really help with the planning if you are not going to bring a group you could let me know.

 

1. 

Arrange transport to the event.

 

2.

Ensure that all young people have parental and photographic consent forms.

 

3.

That you bring the appropriate number of Youth Workers/Carers to support your young people.

 

4.

Undertake the appropriate risk assessments for your organisation.  (I will be preparing a risk assessment on the four workshop activities.  If you need a copy of these for your risk assessment please let me know).
   

5.

Ensure your young people are suitably dressed and have drinks, and a packed lunch.
